This is the sun, about 5 minutes ago. It's HOT today.
This is the moon, last night around 10:00. It's COLD on the moon.

Outclassed? Hardly! There is a clarity in your photos that I have yet to achieve. Actually, just yesterday I was thinking the same thing about myself. =P That moon shot is amazing. How on earth did you hold still long enough to get it?

I rested the camera on top of a fence post and tried not to breathe! LOL I have a tri-pod on my wish list.
:) Get that tripod. You will love it, especially out where you all are. Great pictures... I think it says the hot cold of the desert perfectly!
